BEING LITTLE DURING SCARY TIMES

For a Little, the ability to slip into a younger mindset, and bring their inner child out into the world to play can be a gift. It is a way to escape stress, relax, and just have fun. For people who have to be in control too much, it’s a way of forcing themselves to let go.

If you normally struggle to let other people take care of you, being in Little space can suddenly make it easier for you to accept help. Most Littles, by their nature, enjoy being indulged and cared for, at least to a certain extent. That’s really what the Little experience is about. Letting go of control, and allowing someone else to look after you for a while.

WHAT DOES BEING COLLARED MEAN?

This seems like a pretty basic question on the surface, but when you dive deep, you find it’s a lot more complex. And, as with many things in the Scene, the meaning depends on the people involved.

Simply put, a collar is usually defined as a band that you wear around your throat. It can be made from almost any material: lace, leather, metal, velvet. And by itself it doesn’t need to have any sort of meaning.

DISABILITY AND KINK

Black and grey background with the words: Learning Safely.

This is a subject that really doesn’t need a long, complicated article. It’s actually pretty simple, but it is a topic that needs to be talked about more. As we go into this, please realize that people prefer different words to describe these things, and it can be a sensitive subject.

People with disabilities and impairments exist, and many of them are kinky. I don’t know why this comes as a surprise to some people, but it does.

Just a Quick Catch Up!

News and Updates graphic

I know things have been quiet on the blog lately. It’s not for lack of things to say!

I have a lot of articles I’m working on, and as always, I welcome suggestions to add to my list. However, I hit a real slump in November, and it got worse in December.

To say December was a bad month… well, that’s probably understating it. Health issues, expensive flooding through the ceiling of the kitchen, combined with hectic holidays, and a spate of people stealing my books… it just really overwhelmed me.

I was struggling under deadlines, and when I had to drop the Krampus book, which I was really enjoying writing, it really sank my mood.

I’m starting to pick things up now, finally. Still swamped with deadlines, unfortunately. But my mood has lifted, and I’m working my way out from under a pile of stress.

So, that’s why things have been quiet here. But I do have news!

Next week there is an article going up called: DISABILITY AND KINK, which is probably long overdue. I plan to have a second one up before the end of February, but I’m not sure what the topic will be yet. I’m working on several, so it will be whichever I finish first.

For those of you who found your way here through my books, there is a new Dirty Daddies anthology coming out next week, with a Sam and Charlie novella in it. I’m very excited to see what people think about that.

It’s currently deeply discounted on pre-order until it releases. So, if you’re interested in hot cowboy Daddies, you might want to grab it here: Giddy Up, Daddy

And I’m currently working on my story for the Dirty Daddies Daddy, Sir military anthology, which is also discounted for pre-order. It introduces a new couple Oliver and Jamie, who are in high school ROTC together, and then later reconnect at a reunion.

That’s all for now, but I’ll see you back here next week!

Happy New Year!

Well, we made it to 2025.

2024 was a huge struggle for me, especially the last month. December was filled with challenges and trials. Late deadlines, health issues, and an exploding hot water line that flooded the kitchen and destroyed hours of holiday baking.

I never finished the Krampus book I intended to have out in early December, and I am literally still working on my holiday cards right now. I’m not even half done. Since each one takes me between 30-60 minutes, I’ll probably be finishing in February at this point. Ah well.

I think it’s pretty obvious why the blog was quiet in December. I have several articles in various stages of completion, but none of them are short or quick, so I just haven’t had the chance to finish any of them. And this year, unfortunately, is going to be just as busy as last year. Eek.

So, I’m going to get to them as soon as I can, but I did want to check in, so you know I’m still here and active. I hope your holidays, whichever you celebrate, were lovely, and I hope the new year is filled with the best things for you.

Oh, and in the meantime, don’t forget you can always drop suggestions for things you’d like to see!
