New book and Anniversaries!

My 6th novel, Surrendering to her General, has been accepted by my usual publisher Blushing Books ! If you’ve never checked them out you should. Most of their books are romantic fiction covering relationships with elements of power-exchange, like mine.

I’m really excited about this book because I feel like I had to stretch in some new directions for it. I’ve always wanted to do a sci-fi novel, and I have another one started, but this one jumped to the head of the list. We’re probably looking at a mid-May release for it and I can’t wait to see what people think of it.

I’m especially pleased because it was two years ago this month that my first book A Haunting Experience was accepted by Blushing (February 17th 2017) so it feels like a great way to celebrate my anniversary as an author. Thank you so much for supporting me by buying my books, reading, and reviewing them. This has been a wonderful journey and more fun than I could have expected!

Happy Holidays!

No matter what holiday you celebrate, I hope it’s a great one for you. There are about a dozen holidays this month and I don’t want to leave anyone out, since Yule is officially today I’m going to post my online holiday card now. I’m fairly proud of it so I hope you enjoy it!

In other news: I’m currently working on a holiday story, that I plan to post on Christmas Eve or Day, depending on how quickly I’m able to get some work done on it.

I did come up with an amazing idea for a dark holiday novel or novella, but there was no way to get it ready for this year. I was tempted to post a little teaser for you guys instead of writing something new, but since it likely won’t be finished until late next year that seemed cruel.  I am aiming to put that novel out next November/December if all goes well though. It has a Krampus theme so it could end up being very dark indeed; I guess we’ll see!

News and a snippet from the current WIP (Work in progress)

So my first news is that I decided to put together a new logo to use when posting about writer issues, writer problems, etc. I thought it would be more fun to have a little cartoon to go along with it, and people seem to like them–yay!  So after making the logo I decided to use it as a background for the text so I could post things as memes, and I’m liking how it looks.

Cover reveal for the last Timeless Love book!

I just got the cover for the final Timeless Love book – No Time Like The Present and I love it! I hope you guys do too. I can really feel the chemistry and sparks between the models and I think they fit the look I had in my head pretty nicely as well.

A lot of times, as an author, you don’t get to see your internal vision realized on the cover. It can often be far too expensive to get exactly what you want, and time is a factor too–but the biggest problem is that what you see in your head isn’t always marketable. If it’s not what’s selling at the moment, you risk a failed book and your marketing team will dig their heels in.

So you have to work with your publisher to meet somewhere in the middle.  With this book that was not a problem. I knew I adored it as soon as I set eyes on it. I think the backdrop might just give you a hint about where part of this book takes place, but I’m going to warn you…it’s only one of many locations Jack and Kitty will be visiting over the course of this book, and I guarantee you won’t guess where they end up!

So without further ado, I present to you:
No Time Like The Present
Timeless Love Book Three

It will be available on Amazon  around September 20th. In the meantime if you haven’t read the first two books in the series you can find them on my Amazon Author page here: Kessily Lewel-AuthorÂ
