Fantastic News!

I have some fantastic news, and believe me, the way the world is right now I am clinging to every bit of good news that comes my way. I’m also putting a lot of focus into work because it helps keep my mind off of things.

Which means…I barreled through the end of the book I was working on. Finished it up with a marathon writing session and it is soooo good. I mean, I’m really proud of this one. It’s my first contemporary book without any kind of otherworldly stuff going on–no paranormal, no sci-fi, no time travel. Just two normal (ish) people struggling to make things work.

I realized I hadn’t written any cowboy stories in a long time and I used to love them so I figured I’d give it a whirl. It will also be my first book to explore the Daddy Dom aspects so I have a feeling it’s going to be really popular.

Cowboy. Daddy Dom. Spanking. Anal play. Second chance love affair. 

Are you panting yet? You will be, trust me. It’s with the beta readers and editor right now.

But that’s not my only news! I’ve also signed up to be part of a short story alien abduction romance anthology. My first anthology, by the way! I’m commitment phobic because I obsess over deadlines but this one looks like it’s going to be a blast and I will keep you updated on details because this is going to be a quick release. I believe they are planning to put it up for pre-order almost immediately and publication will be in August.

I am absolutely taking advantage of this as a chance to write a short story in the Sadec universe, which I’ve been planning to do anyway. I may even do a collection of Sadec stories at some point. I’m thinking of a new couple for this, since Kenzi and Tal are coming back in the next book and Sam has had her happy ending.

I have seriously been considering a story for the grandfather and his human, since he keeps meddling in everyone’s relationships. What do you think? I’ve had a few people say they want to know more about him so is this the chance? I can always expand it from a short story to a full book later.

Before I go I just want to let you know that the next planned post will be the review of the items I got from the Long Distance relationship store that I mentioned before and maybe if I can find the time I’ll try and work up a short story for you with everything else I’m working on.
